Description
The Saramonic LavMicro U1B is a 6-meter clip-on microphone that captures the pristine sound quality and connects directly to Apple devices through the Lightning port. It delivers rich detailed sound for interviews, vlogs, presentations, and more. Whether you’re shooting video or recording audio with the app of your choice.
It is comprised of two parts, a male 3.5mm TRS to lightning adapter cable and a lavalier microphone with a 3.5mm female connector. This design also allows you to connect any audio devices with a 3.5mm TRS output to your iPhone or iPad, like the Saramonic UwMic9 RX9, Vmic Mini, SR-PMIC1 and more.
Record digital speech directly to the lightning port of you iPhone or iOS device with the Saramonic LavMicro U1B, a lapel mic designed for YouTube videos, streaming content, interviews, and more. Affix the lapel mic to yourself or your talent, route the mic into your compatible device, and you’re on your way to capturing quality audio for your mobile content.
The microphone makes use of an omnidirectional pickup pattern that captures sound from every direction, allowing for freedom of movement, even when the subject turns away from the mic. The included alligator-style mic clip holds the mic firmly in place on clothing. The 19.6′ cable provides extra length for standing at an optimal distance in front of your camera. The mic is powered via your iOS device, so you don’t have to remember to change a battery, and a foam windscreen is included, to protect against outside wind noise.
Great for Mobile, Hands-Free Audio
Using the mic couldn’t be simpler: clip it onto your person, plug it into your iOS device, and start recording. All the accessories you need, such as the clip and a foam windscreen are included.
Multi-Section, Multi-Use Cable
The cable is made of two sections: a first section with the lav mic at one end and a 3.5mm TRS female connector at the other, and a second section with a 3.5mm TRS male connector at one end and an MFi Certified Lightning connector at the other. This two-section cable facilitates multiple purpose. Use the first section of the cable to route the mic into iOS devices that still offer conventional 3.5mm jacks. Conversely, the second section can be used to connect either the lav mic or any audio device with a 3.5mm TRS output (including wireless receivers and media players) to your iPhone or iPad.
