The RackStation RS822+ 4-Bay NAS Enclosure from Synology is a 4-bay rackmount NAS enclosed in a compact 1 RU chassis. Running the Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) operating system, it is ideal for data backup, sharing, and synchronization. Its small size, stable performance, and storage scalability make it suitable for branch offices and small- and medium-sized businesses with ever-increasing data management needs.

It delivers sequential read speeds of up to 2103 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 1074 MB/s and has four drive bays, each of which natively supports 3.5″ SATA hard drives, as well as 2.5″ SATA hard drives and SSDs. Should users need to expand the overall capacity of their RS822+, the optional RX418 expansion unit offers an additional four drive bays. This model is powered using a single power supply.
