RackStation RS1221RP+: Compact and Reliable
With a depth of only 38 centimeters, Synology RS1221RP+ is designed for compact deployments. With over 100K/4K random read IOPS and 2,315MB/s sequential read IOPS, the RS1221+ is ready to handle large workloads in data-intensive environments. ECC memory and the Btrfs file system provide greater reliability and snapshot capabilities that help prevent data corruption and simplify data protection. The RS1221RP+ also provides an additional level of protection with redundant power supplies.
COMPACT DESIGN FOR A SMALL FOOTPRINT
The RS1221+ and its RX418 expansion unit are designed to save space in compact deployments. At just 30 cm (12 inches), half the length of a typical 2U unit, it fits perfectly into 2-post or shallow rack-mount enclosures. The dual-powered RS1221RP+ is only 38cm long and also fits most shallow enclosures.

HYPER BACKUP
A complete backup and recovery solution for optimal data protection. Create backup destinations locally, on another Synology device, rsync servers, or cloud-based destinations such as Google Drive, Dropbox, S3 compatible destinations, and Synology C2 Storage, a dedicated backup destination for Synology devices. Deduplication, integrity checks, and incremental transfer technology reduce bandwidth and storage usage.
